Submit a short, 2-3 minute video that contains a 32-bar vocal cut (track or live accompanist) and footage of you dancing theater choreography. Email a copy of your headshot & resume to office@openjarinstitute.com.

HS auditions are closed as both programs are sold out. The August college session is sold out. We will accept auditions for the limited space remaining in the May 31 college intensive until April 30.

Audition Requirements:

Vocal: A 32 bar cut (60-90 seconds) that is filmed close up to show your storytelling and acting choices. You may sing with either a track or live accompaniment. Any song from the musical theatre canon or pop/rock is allowed. Please do not submit footage from a performance unless it is solo only, and filmed clearly and close up to see performance details.

Dance: Please submit around 60 seconds of any style. We want to see where your technique is at this time. Please do not submit footage from a performance.

Upload the video to YouTube (private, but please make sure the permissions are set to allow us to view it) or send it to us directly with your headshot/resume at office@openjarinstitute.com.
