Interns would arrive on June 22, 2019 and would stay until August 10, 2019.

Interns are responsible to find their own housing in New York and to arrange for their own travel.

Interns work behind the scenes with open Jar Staff.  The interns provide essential needs for the many facets of the workshops.  From working side by side with Broadway Teaching Artists, assisting the Staff in organizing and supervising the workshops, catering and helping the group travel from space to space, this team is an incredibly important part of the summer.

The internship program is a non-paid position, but you WILL receive a ticket to all of the Broadway shows and the ability to participate in some of the workshops, when possible.  During the weeks of the institute, all of your meals will be included. During the weeks between sessions, you would be free to enjoy the city.

If you're interested in applying to be an intern for The Open Jar Institute, fill out an INTERN APPLICATION (COMING SOON!).

In early March 2019 you will be notified if you're being considered and will be scheduled for an online interview.  If you don't hear anything back by the end of March, please don't hesitate to reach back out to us.
